

On a recent episode of UFC Unfiltered, Matt Serra and Jim Norton hosted Donald Trump Jr, a political activist and businessman who is also the eldest son of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The episode was a recap of UFC 273, and most of the topics revolved around all the fights that happened on the card. However, it goes to say that one way or another, the topic of the former president is likely to pop up when someone related to him is in an interview.
Donald Trump Jr. was asked about his father’s debates. Matt Serra stated, “Your father is hysterical, though… Were you watching these debates?… Very typical. When your father’s on there, it’s not that I’m watching a comedy show, but oh my goodness… This is like a comedy special”

To which, Donald Trump Jr. replied, “Yeah, he was good. I mean, it actually felt more like going to a fight, right? It was different. You were exchanging blows, but verbally. Watching him get in the head of, like you know, Jeb. You could see the next day they were trying to change up the commercial.”
He further added, talking about his opposition, “He just crushed them with it. You know what I mean? It was just like a fight.”

Is Donald Trump connected to the UFC?
People know Donald Trump as the former President of the United States as well as a businessman. But what many people do not know is that Donald Trump had a huge hand in saving the future of the UFC.
Back to when the UFC was a struggling organization, Dana White stated that he was having trouble getting venues to host UFC events. This was credited due to the violence-driven nature of the UFC.

White stated that Donald Trump took a chance on White and hosted 2 UFC events at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. This gave the UFC a standing ground to build and further move forward with the success that they gained from those two events.

The former United States president is an avid watcher of the UFC and is a fan of many fighters. He is also known to have a good relationship with fighters like Colby Covington and the UFC president Dana White. Moreover, Donald Trump has also attended the UFC 264 PPV event.
