Donald Trump Jr. Replies to ‘Donald Trump’s Favorite Fighter’, Colby Covington, With 2023 Goals: “Kick Some A**”

UFC welterweight star Colby Covington ended 2022 with a social media post wishing Donald Trump Jr. his birthday. The former interim champion has been a firm supporter of the Trump family. Former US President Donald Trump is also a fan of the Clovis native.
Covington posted a photo on social media with Donald Trump Jr. as he wished on his birthday and wrote: “Happy Birthday to @donaldjtrumpjr and a Happy New Year to all.” Trump Jr. was quick to reply back and wrote: “Happy new year buddy!!! Kick some a** in 2023!”
They have been closely associated with each other for years. Trump Jr. was interviewed by TMZ a few years ago and even said that he’d love to walk Colby Covington out for a fight. The Trump family frequently attends the UFC shows.

There have been many occasions when the Trump family has attended Covington‘s fights. Donald Trump Jr is also closely associated with UFC President Dana White. ‘Chaos’ also got the opportunity to visit then-president Donald Trump at the White House a few years back.
Colby Covington called Donald Trump ‘the greatest living American’
After Covington‘s UFC 272 bout with former friend Jorge Masvidal, he attended the post-fight press conference and mentioned Donald Trump. The former US President has worked closely with some fighters in various campaigns. Trump even worked with Jorge Masvidal for a campaign named “Fighters Against Socialism.”
There was a discussion raised by the fighter during the press conference regarding the better right-winger in politics. Covington proceeded to call Donald Trump the ‘greatest living American’ and even claimed that he was the greatest US president in the history of the country.

“The things he [Trump Sr.] did for this country, all you liberals out there that say he didn’t look at inflation, look at our open borders, our f*****g country is going to s**t without him,” said Covington. He added, “So, we need him back in 2024. Trump 2024 and he’s going to come back and make America great again.”

Colby Covington recently found himself in trouble with Jorge Masvidal. The former has sued the former UFC BMF champion on account of inflicting bodily harm and destruction of property, which includes Covington‘s $90,000 Rolex watch. UFC President Dana White has talked about Covington’s return to UFC. But it has not been decided yet.
