UFC 296 featured a lot of interesting faces from the United States, thanks to the event going down in Las Vegas. The arena was packed with spectators and cornermen like Jack Black and Jared Leto. However, one particular person may have taken to the spotlight thanks to
Terrell Owens holding Dude Wipes XL
Colby Covington. And that was former president, Donald J. Trump.

Another battle sports persona sitting among the spectators was none other than the ‘King of Violence’

Mike Perry. The bare-knuckle icon was one of the loudest audience members in the arena, as he admitted to starting an interesting chant. However, it wasn’t enough to get Trump’s attention. Did this upset Perry? Let’s find out.

‘Platinum’ Mike Perry’s interesting chant

Mike Perry clearly had a lot of fun at UFC 296. He recently showed up for an interview with ‘The Schmo’, who made an interesting discovery. Perry opened up about starting a chant against the current president of the U.S., Joe Biden, that got a laugh out of Donald Trump, a political rival.

However, even though the chant got the man’s attention, it wasn’t enough for him to seek Perry out. For him, perhaps a travesty, as Perry seems like just as much of a fan as ‘Chaos’ himself. Here’s him retelling his account of the events.

“I did start a FJB chant,” Perry said. “I thought that was fun, that was me, I had the (former) president laughing over there. He didn’t really see me or you know, I was a little upset he didn’t send someone over to come get me and say ‘Hi’ to the King of Violence man.”

Covington actually brought Trump there. However, everyone now knows that Covington lost after a lot of verbal battling. That’s not a good look. Perhaps even Trump recognized that since he walked out of the arena the moment Covington lost. But did he stick around for the speech?

Donald Trump won’t stand for losses

Donald Trump didn’t care about hearing out Covington. He didn’t care for Covington’s demand to “make America great again”. In fact, he just walked right away from his seat as Covington lost via a unanimous decision. Leon Edwards is still champion, and ‘Chaos’ has now been beaten by multiple champs in the division.

What’s next for ‘Chaos’? There is no way to tell. Kamaru Usman wants a rematch against the now-middleweight prospect Khamzat Chimaev. Meanwhile, Leon Edwards has proven his might as a champion by continuing his winning streak. So both the former champ and the reigning champ seem done with Covington. Will he get another title shot any time soon? Only time will tell.
