So, ahead of the event, DC is taking interviews with the fighter. And during such an interview, the former UFC fighter had a funny exchange with the heavyweight champion.

Before the interview, the pair sparred for a few minutes. DC said, “Can’t even take this guy down anymore. He’s wrestling now. You’re big – 275, 280? That is actually a nightmare for me.”

After the interview, as ‘The Predator’ tried to touch DC’s face, he said, “I know, I got it on purpose. Don’t ever touch my face. The one thing you would not do is touch my face. Please don’t do that. Now, I’ve got to go to the bathroom because you tried to punch me. God bless you.”

DC has been a heavyweight champion himself during his time in the promotion. However, he retired from professional fighting after he lost his last two fights against Stipe Miocic.

Meanwhile, the Cameroonian fighter became the heavyweight champion after dethroning Miocic in 2021. However, he hasn’t entered the UFC octagon ever since. But he will return tonight to make his first-ever title defense.

Francis Ngannou will defend his title for the first time at UFC 270

‘The Predator’ will be back in action after an 11 months’ hiatus from fighting. Previously, he had a few issues with the promotion. Hence, UFC snubbed him and set up an interim heavyweight title fight between Ciryl Gane and Derrick Lewis.
