Molly Qerim opines on Dana White’s recent altercation

While the entire sporting community believed that the UFC president should be punished for what he did, Qerim came out in support of White. She made the people believe that one must not judge someone on behalf of their worst moments. Furthermore, she reasoned that the two were under the influence of alcohol, which makes people do things that they often regret. However, she did not back down on White deserving some kind of punishment.

Qerim said, “I could see him doing something even stricter just because he is the leader, you know. And he is the leader of men… I just wanna say a couple of things. They talked about being, um, drinking heavily. When you’re under the influence, not shiny moments. Often people don’t make the best decisions, so in that sense, it’s a cautionary tale.”

She further added, “And in terms of being in isolated incidents, I’ve known Dana since I’ve been 22. I’ve utmost respect for him. And, I don’t judge people by their worst moment. I agree with you on that punishment part. And the other piece that I just wanna say, as a woman, it was also, his wife’s hands on him… No one should be putting their hands on anyone. Male-female, female-male.”
