Ever since Jake Paul made his professional boxing debut, the fighter has been garnering attention from everyone in the combat sports world. Recently, as Paul faced former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, he came back into the spotlight.

This was Paul’s 4th professional boxing fight, while it was Woodley’s boxing debut. However, many people still believed that Woodley would defeat Paul, as he is much more experienced than Paul.

That was not the case, as Paul won the fight via split decision. However, even though ‘The Problem Child’ won the fight against a UFC legend, many people still don’t believe he is a good boxer.

However, Woodley is certainly not one of them. During a recent interview, Woodley talked about his fight with Paul and actually praised Paul for his fighting spirit. He said, “Sold out a fu*king basketball arena. Two dudes fighting, I told him from the beginning. This will look like a fight.”

“Don’t let this dude keep fooling you that he’s some YouTuber. He’s a rich kid with no kids, no responsibilities. Endless opportunities for the best trainers, the best conditioners, the best living stuff. He’s passionate about it, so why wouldn’t he go all in and all out. This is a fight.”

Many people think that the events Jake and Logan Paul take part in are more entertainment gigs rather than serious fights. And many combat sports purists do not consider Jake Paul to be a legitimate fighter. However, as someone who has fought ‘The Problem Child’, Woodley believes that Paul is really passionate about boxing.
