For quite some time now, Khamzat Chimaev has been yearning for his next challenge, but luck has not been on his side. The last time the undefeated ‘Borz’ was seen in action was back in September last year, where he dominated Kevin Holland and won the bout via a first-round submission. Since then, Chimaev hasn’t received a fight, leaving him frustrated and eager to step back into the octagon.

In the midst of his frustration, the dominant Swede has called out several fighters across divisions, but nothing has materialized. Recently, he expressed his interest in fighting former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, and to his delight, Usman reciprocated the idea. Unfortunately, Dana White dismissed the matchup, and Chimaev lashed out at the UFC president, who blamed him for his own inactivity.

Despite the drama and the promotional frontman’s denial, Chimaev has once again teased the possible fight with ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, and it has got some fans talking.
