Derrick Lewis is a man who’s always up for a challenge. He’s one of the best heavyweights in the world and always ready to face anything head-on. ‘The Black Beast’ is also one of the funniest men in MMA right now. Lewis always speaks his mind, and in a recent media scrum he opened up about one of his worst talk show experiences.
In the lead-up to his fight at UFC Fight Night 199 against Chris Daukaus, Lewis talked about his appearance on Hot Ones. He said, “It was good. But that shit was nasty. Like all the wings had no flavor to it. It just felt like I was eating poison. None of it was good flavor.”

However, it was the aftermath that was the worst of it all. Lewis said, “The aftermath was pretty rough. I had to get some pills to help my immune system. I couldn’t even make it home from the airport. All I was thinking about was, do not s**t on this plane. Don’t s**t on the plane. So I just went in the plane because my stomach was bubbling, just let out a little gas, that’s about it. Soon as the plane landed, I didn’t want to s**t at the airport either, so I went to the gas station and shi**ed. For 30 minutes straight.”
Derrick Lewis is not the only UFC star to appear on the show.

Hot Ones seems popular among UFC stars
Hot Ones is one of the most popular talk shows amongst celebrities. It is a show where Sean Evans, the host of the show, sits down with his guests and they eat chicken wings by pouring hot sauces on them. Each sauce has a different heat level, which increases as they progress.

Derek Lewis recently appeared on the show, and his experience was bad as it made his stomach upset. However, he’s not the only UFC superstar to appear on the show. UFC lightweight Dustin Poirier also appeared on the show earlier this year. He was fresh off his win against Conor McGregor and went on the show. ‘The Diamond’ had also come up with his own brand of hot sauce, Poirier’s Louisiana Style, which he promoted on the show.
