Last night, McGregor appeared on TheMacLife podcast hosted by Willis. During the interview, they discussed McGregor’s upcoming reality show ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. The highlight of the interview was Conor revealing the surprising timeline for his much-anticipated bout against Michael Chandler.
‘The Notorious’ said, “I’ll be back in that Octagon by the end of this year.”

The duo also talked about the Irishman’s Netflix documentary that garnered a lot of attention. Speaking of his views on documentaries, the fighter revealed what he found missing in documentaries.
“Oh I am flattered… I have been watching documentaries and realizing what’s not in it… Like there’s nothing about the business side of things… It’s just the starting of the fighting really, you know. And at the time there’s a lot going on… and I’m happy and I’m embracing it, you know, it keeps me in line.”
Fans roast McGregor for his previous UFC losses
After the interview aired, fans took to social media to express their opinions about McGregor’s statements.
One fan amusingly wrote, “Just a big mouth that can’t fight anymore.”
One fan sarcastically remarked, “You’ve won only one fight in seven years. I doubt you’ll win again in the UFC.”

These remarks seemed to question McGregor’s recent success and his ultimate prospects in the sport.
Some fans doubted McGregor’s abilities altogether, with comments like, “Can’t wait to see him get knocked out”, “Dude ain’t fighting again” and “He can’t win against top fighters.”
