Following UFC 284, MMA fans have thrown around quite a few controversial topics and questions. Although a majority of them have been on some of the judge’s decisions and scoring, especially in the main event, another tweet by Lightweight Dan Hooker has added a new angle to the event at Perth. In a fresh tweet, the 33-year-old has accused an unknown individual, most probably a fighter, of using an IV. The use of IV, as per regulations, is not allowed in the UFC, even during the process of rehydration after a weight cut. USADA bans fighters from IV use owing to the fact that it can be utilized as a means of injecting banned substances.

Hooker’s tweet, if true, could eventually be a serious issue considering that any fighter found using it is subjected to a lengthy ban. Although it is also important to note that there has been no official announcement as of now, and the UFC lightweight’s tweet could just be mere speculation.

Although the responses on it were mere name-throwing by fans, one cannot help but wonder who the fighter is accusing of IV use in his tweet.
