

Former interim lightweight UFC champion Dustin Poirier is out of action since December last year. However, he has appeared actively on Twitter and other social media platforms during his absence from the Octagon. He keeps roasting, calling out and engaging with other fighters there.

Recently, Nate Diaz shared a picture of himself allegedly urinating on the UFC Performance Institute campus in Nevada. He shared the picture on Twitter and wrote, “Taking a piss on the ufc pi I could do this cause I get paid more than all uguys and they won’t cut me”

The tweet got thousands of likes, and many fans and fighters reacted to the tweet, Dustin Poirier was one of them. ‘The Diamond’ leaves no opportunity to take a dig at his former and ‘potential’ opponents. He wrote in the replies, “A real man would’ve s*it there.”
Nate Diaz is angry with the UFC and has shown this anger frankly with his tweets. The 37-year-old fighter is on the last fight of his contract and has been repeatedly asking the UFC to fix a fight for him.

However, there is still nothing confirmed about it and it has frustrated one of the baddest guys in the promotion. He took offense at the actions of the promotion and retaliated by constant mocking, insults, and now with the latest urination incident.
It will be interesting to see what happens as this saga continues. Similarly, Dustin Poirier is also waiting for the UFC to set his next fight up after he failed to win the title against Charles Oliveira in December 2021. He lost the fight in the third round via submission to a comprehensive rear-naked choke.
What’s next for Dustin Poirier in the UFC?
After defeating the UFC icon and former double champion Conor McGregor twice in a row, Poirier’s career was on an upward trajectory. However, he couldn’t make the most of the next opportunity that he got.

The UFC fixed him for a title fight against Charles Oliveira at UFC 269. He lost the fight after an intense battle in the first two rounds and has not returned to the Octagon ever since. Although he is asking the promotion to set his next fight as soon as possible.

There are a few names that might be on Dana White’s mind for Poirier, including ‘The Mystic Mac’ himself. However, McGregor is himself out of action due to an injury he suffered in the trilogy fight against Poirier.
