This fan is none other than one of the biggest personalities around the world, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The Hollywood star indicated towards the video ‘The Last Stylebender’ posted after the weigh-ins and jokingly said that listening to his music and having ‘World Famous Rock Toast’ gave Adesanya the advantage to get over the line at UFC 271.

Also, ‘The People’s Champ’ praised the whole UFC 271 card for putting on astonishing fights throughout the night. ‘The Rock’ is a big UFC fan and generally enjoys the show and frequently comments about the fights.

Israel Adesanya had a tough time in the rematch

The middleweight king had taken the crown from ‘The Reaper‘ in their first bout at UFC 243. In their first match, he demolished Whittaker. However, in the rematch, things went differently. ‘Bobby Knuckles’ struggled in the first round, but he kept his composure. After the first round, he mixed the striking and takedown really well to make the fight competitive.

Although Adesanya had already anticipated Whittaker to follow this game plan, he didn’t think it would work against him. The judges’ scorecard suggests Adesanya won 4-1, but it looked a lot closer than that.
