Eddie Alvarez responds to fan suggesting that Justy Gaethje inflicted damage on him
by u/HonestMcGregorFan in MMA

  • It’s kinda wild that Gaethje never really gets cut up himself, Dustin n Eddie put a beating on him n IIRC he didnt have much visible damage
  • eddie was landing serious body volume no doubt, but don’t forget about the grapefruit in his thigh from Justins low kicks.
  • I mean, just because Eddie KOed him doesn’t change the fact that Gaethje left him looking like a muppets character, not saying anything wrong
  • Eddie was 2 leg kicks and a stiff cross from being KO’d himself. Pure heart pulling out that win, I thought he was done.
  • Eddie’s swollen cheek is the most visible example of damage from that fight but Eddie was landing on Justin just as good as anything Justin landed on him Eddie also ripped the body a lot
  • Eddie gets so much disrespect from mma fans.
  • Eddie is a legend but let’s not act like he hasn’t been a damage sponge for most of his career
