Raul Rosas Jr. has had a great start in his MMA career. He is undefeated and carries a 7-fight winning streak and made a triumphant debut at UFC 282. He will be returning to the octagon this weekend against Christian Rodriguez. However, there are some fighters who do not believe that ‘El Nino Problema’ should fight on the main card.

Raul Rosas is the youngest fighter to debut in the UFC. At 18 years of age, he’s already made a name for himself in the MMA scene. He is one of the fighters who gained prominence after competing in Dana White’s Contender Series and has impressed the world with his fighting style.

‘El Nino Problema’ made a statement after tapping out Jay Perrin in the first round of his first UFC fight. He is carrying a lot of momentum with him as he looks to continue his winning streak against Christian Rodriguez, who is also heading into UFC 287 with a win under his belt. Moreover, Rosas Jr. made an appearance on the UFC 287 media day and addressed those people who are not in favor of him fighting on the main card.

Chris Curtis feels he got ignored from the UFC 287 main card “for a child”

Middleweight fighter Chris Curtis was vocal when he tweeted that his fight against Kelvin Gastelum should have been on the main card. He wrote: “Not gonna lie, that bout order is completely f*cked. One of the best cards of the year and I get bounced from the main card for a child?” He expressed his frustration about the fact that Raul Rosas Jr., who has just begun his UFC career, is getting a main card slot.

‘Action-Man’ expressed his anger that Rosas Jr. was fighting on the main card despite him winning the last four of his five UFC fights. Curtis wrote: “I fought on short notice. Have take on whoever and gone 4-1 to get ranked and I get bounced for a kid with one fight? Yeah I’m salty as f***.”

Raul Rosas Jr. replies to the ‘haters’

The 18-year-old Mexican-American fighter clapped back at his doubters. He said, “I don’t know who said that but at the end of the day, they’re all just hating and they should take some notes and learn some stuff from me.” He believes that fighters should learn from him so that they can also get the main card slot.

Rosas Jr. mentioned how he has been able to fight in a pay-per-view, unlike some of the ranked fighters in the division. He added, “I got in the UFC and I’m already on the PPV, not like other ranked fighters that are prelim fighters. I don’t want to say names.”
