Not a single soul has averted their attention from the heated battle between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. Even Conor McGregor bounced off the walls when he was questioned about the fight. However, he had one condition regarding his involvement in the fight. The former UFC double champion revealed his connection with the fight promotion.

The UFC president, Dana White, was recently presented with a proposal to make Musk and Zuckerberg fight in a co-main event. And White didn’t back down from snatching a golden opportunity. The UFC store began selling Zuckerberg vs Musk T-shirts. The merchandise indeed pushed through the crowds and attracted the fans’ attention. 

Conor McGregor is interested in Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg fight

Recently, ‘The Notorious’ was interviewed by ‘The Daily Mail’. Therein, the Dubliner revealed his thoughts about the fight between the CEOs. He said, “I’m interested. Are they gonna go ahead with it? Are they gonna make it happen? If it happens under the UFC banner, I’m with it. It has to happen under the UFC banner.”

Although he was fascinated with the idea of Musk and Zuckerberg going against each other, he had one condition. McGregor claimed that he would stay connected with the fight, if and only if it happened within the UFC.

Thereafter, the interviewer asked a follow-up question. He asked whether the Irishman was willing to train Musk for his fight. Even though McGregor agreed that Musk required a lot more training, he wasn’t willing to lend a hand. The ‘Mystic Mac’ said that he was busy training for his own fight, and subtly hinted at his return to the Octagon.

UFC has backed Zuckerberg vs. Musk

While the fight between the tech giants has churned up nothing but fumes, the UFC decided to monetize the heat. T-shirts with prints of ‘Zuckerberg vs Musk’ have appeared to be on sale, in the UFC Store for $40. 

The act wasn’t well-received by the fans. Nevertheless, White has also revealed his desire to host the fight inside the Octagon. The only question that remains now is: When will they fight?
