If Sean Strickland could be defined by merely using one word, it would be ‘unfiltered’. The UFC fighter has slowly but surely become infamous for his driver-seat videos where he gives his thoughts about a range of diverse topics. And when being unfiltered, one must not forget an open-thinker’s biggest nemesis on social media; Community guidelines.

Strickland has faced trouble before with his Instagram and X posts. His videos feature a lot of outlandish verbatim as well as enough swear words to make a Quentin Tarantino movie whole. Is this the reason he wants Elon Musk to acquire Instagram? Here’s what he said.

Sean Strickland wants freedom and Elon Musk can get it for him, maybe

Sean Strickland was once surprised when Musk’s X unbanned him from tweeting out his thoughts. He soon expressed his gratitude by praising the CEO right before asking him to buy Mark Zuckerberg’s brainchild, Instagram. Social media can be a modern fighter’s bread and butter. Strickland knows this well.

“Instagram is absolutely f***ing trash… @elonmusk it’s time man… we should start a gofund me “buy Instagram”. He tweeted earlier this year. His demands have not stopped. Now he has an offer that could lure Musk in for good.

One could say ‘Tarzan’ buying one of Musk’s cars could parallel Musk buying out an entire multi-billion dollar company. Everyone knows the rivalry between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. The two were even meant to brawl inside a cage at one point. Does this warrant enough animosity to try and buy each other out?

Perhaps the UFC middleweight champion’s offer could urge Musk enough. Everyone knows, that if there’s one man who could match Strickland’s energy, it’s the X CEO. One could even go as far as saying Musk is the Sean Strickland of the Space and Technology industry.
