Elon Musk and Joe Rogan have shared ideologies and debated their ideas on multiple occasions. And most of it happened on the set of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. But this time, the UFC color commentator revealed what he thought of the X CEO. Well, he seemed to believe that Musk was a pretty unique character. And the Tesla boss couldn’t help but get amused by it all.
During a conversation with Lex Fridman on episode #2260 of the JRE, Rogan said, “Elon’s a such a unique character. You can’t even like, you can’t put him in the same category as Einstein, because he’s just like a cultural weirdnes. Like, who is this guy?” The fact that Musk loved to make memes, crack jokes, and take a dunk on people hating him impressed the JRE host.
On top of that, he bought Twitter and brought about massive changes while running multiple companies simultaneously. And he did it all while constantly playing video games. Rogan continued, “That doesn’t fit in anywhere else. That’s like a very unique thing that exists, this Elon Musk guy. He’s one of the most unique human beings in all of history.”

However, Musk has often found himself in troubled situations. Like the time he seemingly mimicked the ‘Heil Hitler’ move during Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony. Needless to say, Musk attracted quite a bit of lashing from the public. But Rogan remained on his side.

Joe Rogan defends Elon Musk from woke culture after the infamous Nazi salute
As soon as Musk dropped the salute, the netizens started accusing him of being a Nazi and bashed the Tesla CEO for the gesture. But Rogan swooped down to Musk’s rescue through his podcast. He said, “This is why they want to conflate and always want to pretend that everyone’s Hitler. The problem with that is, after a while, it’s crying wolf and people are like, ‘Oh, this is a bulls–t game you’re playing and you’re just using it as an excuse. Elon has talked about this a lot. He’s absolutely correct is that people use woke ideology as an excuse to be an a–hole, and it’s really just people that are a–holes that are attaching themselves to things that make them feel righteous.”

Rogan claimed that intelligent people recognize that the horrific and unfounded attacks made them ineffective. There was no chance for someone like Musk to heed those remarks. And that’s exactly what happened. Even though the Tesla boss was forced to open up on the accusations, he asked critics to do better.

Apart from the UFC color commentator, Musk also found support from the Anti-Defamation League. The ADL is an organization that was formed to tackle the anti-Semitic community. They claimed that it was nothing more than an “awkward gesture” made in a moment of enthusiasm.
