The coveted cage fight between the tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has currently engrossed the combat sports world. The bout started its journey towards materialization with the noted ‘Meta CEO’ confirming Musk’s offer. However, ‘Zuck’ using Khabib Nurmagomedov’s iconic catchphrase, “Send me location”, instantly got the UFC community hooked on this bout.

A number of current and ex-UFC fighters offered to train the billionaire combatants. But, the UFC head honcho Dana White saw a massive business opportunity if he managed to make this bout happen under the UFC. He transformed fully into his fight promoter mode and started negotiations to accomplish his vision. Reports said White had also succeeded in the negotiations initially. But a few recent events imply that things might not go exactly as per White’s wish.

Looking at the stature of the combatants, it’s quite apparent that they don’t really need the UFC or Dana White to manage this fight. Both of them have enough resources to get hundreds of such fights organized. However, the UFC boss was probably pretty confident of this venture. This is probably why he had also started promoting the all-new ‘Zuckerberg vs Musk’ UFC merchandise.

But a recent tweet from the noted Twitter boss, Musk probably signaled the end of White’s efforts to get the fight organized inside the UFC octagon. Lately, the SpaceX head honcho took to his own platform and put out some significant pieces of information about his fight against ‘Zuck’.

The first line of Musk’s tweet was probably enough to break White’s heart regarding this issue. It read, “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC)”. Musk’s special mention “not UFC” is probably because he wants no one to be confused regarding this bout.

His tweet also revealed that the fight will be in Italy. But his words, “Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome” has got the followers wondering about the actual location.

Musk also updated the potential viewers in his tweet. His words, “Livestream will be on this platform and Meta”, cleared all the doubts that the fans had regarding the method to watch the bout live. He also built up further intrigue among fight fans with his ending line of the tweet.

The Twitter boss revealed that his talks with the Prime Minister and Minister of Culture of Italy yielded positive results. He also labeled the location of their fight as an “epic” one. Musk might have got the fans even more hyped up with these words.

The combination of “ancient Rome” and “epic” coming out of Musk simply means that the location of the fight is going to be a really startling one.
