The MMA community now has an exciting and peculiar fight to look forward to. Tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg might come face-to-face in the world’s biggest MMA promotion octagon. The Twitter CEO and Meta CEO recently ended up calling each other out for an MMA fight. The verbal exchanges between the two parties began when Zuckerberg came up with his plan to launch ‘Threads’, a micro-blogging platform to rival Twitter. However, Musk showed no faith in Zuckerberg’s new venture.

When a Twitter user came across the contention between the tech giants, he suggested Musk be careful with his words as Zuckerberg was trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). As a response, Musk declared a “cage match,” and soon afterward, the Meta CEO responded on Instagram with a “Send Me Location.” However, it seems that Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, does not want her son to lock horns against another tech giant. Instead, she suggests a verbal fight between the two billionaires.

Maye Musk suggests something different

In a Twitter post by Tesla Synopsis, UFC president Dana White revealed that he had talked with both Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. He further mentioned that both of these businessmen are dead serious about a bout with each other. White sounded enthusiastic about the whole idea, as he believed that this would be the biggest fight that would go down in combat sports history.

Twitter CEO reacted to Dana White’s video posted by Tesla Synopsis using Fire emojis. It was then that Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, decided to step in and suggest something different. She tweeted, “A verbal fight only. Three questions each. The funniest answers win. Who agrees?” It seems that Maye Musk does not want her son to go for a physically exhausting fight.

The Twitter CEO has excellent words for Royce Gracie, who achieved great success in the initial stages of the UFC. Musk is someone who gives the utmost importance to physical fitness for himself and his kids. To inculcate a healthy lifestyle in them, he made sure that his kids took training in Jiu-Jitsu.

"Like many, my journey into the beautiful game began by watching the mesmerizing Lionel Messi, as his impeccable vision on the pitch and role as a playmaker, meticulously calculating the path to goal always amazed me. This fascination with the finer details of soccer strategy naturally extended to my interest in content strategy. However, my zeal for being a soccer content analyst is not only because of Messi's magic, as I am a keen follower of the Becks as well. While in David Beckham, it was a special affinity for his mastery of crosses, passes, and set pieces, in Victoria Beckham, the fashion queen, I find inspiration in how she masterfully navigated the world of aesthetics and brand identity. This unique blend of admiration for both the tactical intricacies of soccer and the world of fashion and entertainment helps me to cover the game from angles that seamlessly balance sport and entertainment. Before joining EssentiallySports, I worked as a content analyst as well. A Master's degree in English and Comparative Literature from a premiere institute has helped me hone my writing skills and given me a unique perspective on the world of sports. Interestingly, besides soccer, I also extensively covered UFC, especially the Joe Rogan podcast. In my free time, I enjoy reading and keeping up with the latest developments in the world of sports.
