When will UFC fans leave Ian Garry alone? The fighter has been in the news because of his personal life instead of his undefeated MMA record. Now his wife, Layla Machado, released a video that was supposed to be cutesy, but UFC fans didn’t leave a single opportunity to insult the fighter. Why, you ask?

Well, because the couple recently took to their socials to upload a video of Garry dancing and singing for his wife with roses. Layla Machado also wrote, “When you have argued and he still thinks he’s right but he kinda knows he’s wrong but he’s not entirely sure and he’s still mad but he does love you all at the same time.”

Well, that’s not all as she captioned the post with, “I think he’s kinda sorry maybe.”

This caught none other than Chael Sonnen’s attention, who took it upon himself to share the video on X. What else, the video gained a lot of traction.

Soon fight fans came together to share their opinions about the video. But this isn’t the first time, Garry was called out by fans because of his relationship with his wife. It all started when people got to know that the fighter hired his wife’s ex-husband as his nutritionist. But Garry’s reasoning was simple:

  1. Richard Cullen, Layla’s ex-husband, was a great nutritionist.
  2. Cullen and Layla have a kid together and he didn’t want to separate the father and son.

Regardless, fans have not spared him when it comes to his personal life.

Fans in disbelief as Ian Garry dances and sings for his wife!

Former UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen was perplexed. “What is going on here?” he wrote on X.

Once a respected fighter with an undefeated record, people now see Garry as a punching bag for fans. In fact, when Layla’s satirical book on how to be a “WAG” (Wives and Girlfriends of sports stars) came to light and since then Garry has been facing unprecedented verbal attacks from his fellow fighters as well as fans.

“Embarrassing,” wrote one fan.

However, Ian Garry’s wife has been very supportive of him. She even threw a verbal jab at Sean Strickland when he made fun of Garry and said that she wanted to ‘snatch the face-off’ of Strickland. But now, the fans believe that she is just humiliating now, “Ian Garry’s wife humiliating him.”

Furthermore, the fans made several speculations about Ian Garry’s relationship.

“A man has been broken.”

“I simply think that it is possible that Ian Gary is a child.”

On the flip side, there were people who felt bad for Ian Garry. The fighter has been repeatedly ridiculed by other UFC fighters and fans for his relationship with his wife and for employing her ex-partner. Colby Covington even called Garry a ‘kid’ and that stated his wife wears the pants in their relationship.

“Ian kinda getting humiliated. Sucks to see a high level prospect lose all respect because of his personal life”
