Conor McGregor is an extremely supportive teammate. While the Irishman is always there at events, he displays his support for them via his social media if he isn’t physically present. This time McGregor took an unconventional way to upload a message in support of his teammate and compatriot Brian Moore. The former UFC champion tweeted a voice message congratulating his teammate.

‘The Notorious’ advised Moore to seek a title fight next and expressed his willingness to see ‘The Pikeman’ in a battle for gold.

Conor McGregor said, “Any f**kin one of them can come and get it, yeah. We want the gold… I wanna see now Brian in a world title fight in Bellator guys.”

He further added, “That was how you do it. You get the win. You put in the solid performance, put in the consistency and time… roar the crowd, call the next one, and that’s how you f**king do it. Take notes… That was the pikeman’s night on Irish soil.”

Moore was recently coming off of a unanimous decision victory against Arivaldo Lima da Silva at Bellator 285.

Fans flooded the comment section with hilarious reactions to McGregor’s excitement, or somewhat overexcitement, in the audio clip. Here are a few of them. 

A troll poked fun at McGregor’s audio and implied that the fighter was on something. 

Another user found it hard to decipher what ‘The Notorious’ was saying. 

A fan thought McGregor was probably drunk at the time he uploaded the audio message and shared a suggestion with the former UFC champ. 

Another user found it difficult to understand what was being said in the tweet. 

A fan accused the champ-champ of drinking and requested McGregor to get on with training. 

In a hilarious tweet, a user provided a new lock suggestion for McGregor’s phone. 

Meanwhile, a fan straightaway disregarded the post and labeled it saying, “embarrassing”.

A former UFC fighter called McGregor a great host

Apart from falling victim to the trolls, McGregor gained a good reputation in the eyes of many after former UFC middleweight Yoel Romero said that the Irishman hosted him well. 

In a press conference for the same Bellator 285 event, the Cuban revealed that Conor McGregor assisted him with cars, gym, and restaurants during his stay in Ireland. Moreover, the fighter thanked ‘The Notorious’ publicly for his gesture.
