This year, the MMA community was ecstatic when Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg announced that they’d fight each other inside a cage. Moreover, UFC CEO Dana White also got into the mix and expressed his wish to promote that fight. However, things did not go as planned and the fight fell off, leading people to think that there might have been some constraints in the relationship between Zuckerberg and White.
Meanwhile, Mark Zuckerberg has continued his martial arts training and even participated in competitions. Recently, the Meta CEO’s trainer Khai Wu appeared in an ES exclusive interview with Noah Lack in the ES FanCast. He opened up about the relationship between Zuckerberg and Dana White following the falling off of the Elon Musk fight. Let’s see what he had to say.

Khai Wu opens up on the relationship between Mark Zuckerberg and Dana White
Dana White seemed excited about the prospect of hosting a fight event between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Given that the tech moguls are two of the richest people in the world, the UFC CEO believed that it could have proven to be the biggest fight in the history of mankind. However, things did not go the way White would have wanted to.
Despite Elon Musk assuring the fans that the fight would take place sometime in the future, Mark Zuckerberg backed out. This was because he did not want to wait too long and wanted the fight to happen soon. This led people to speculate that the relationship between him and Dana White could be in jeopardy.

But Zuckerberg’s trainer, Khai Wu, does not believe that’s the case. During the ES exclusive interview, he reaffirmed, “I would assume that he’s friends with Dana. They’re both very rich and successful and powerful guys.” Moreover, Wu addressed another rumor surrounding Mark Zuckerberg.
Khai Wu addresses rumors that Zuckerberg wanted to book a whole arena
Some time ago, rumors emerged that Mark Zuckerberg wanted to book a whole arena to watch a UFC event. When Khai Wu was asked about it during the ES FanCast appearance, he did seem to be aware of that fact. He stated, “I wouldn’t know anything about that [regarding Zuckerberg booking an entire arena for a UFC event].”

Furthermore, Khai Wu mentioned that his only focus on Mark Zuckerberg is to train him. He does not engage in conversations about things other than that with the Meta CEO. Wu added, “At the end of the day, I just go and train him and not constantly texting him like, ‘Hey Mark, did you do this?'” He instead believes that it would be unprofessional for him to engage in conversations of that sort and it’s entirely Zuckerberg’s choice if he loves to watch the UFC. “I don’t think it’s professional to do that. At the same time, if he goes and enjoys UFC fights, I don’t see what’s the harm in that. That’s his business,” Wu added.
It does not look like the battle of the billionaires between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg will happen anytime soon. Nevertheless, Zuckerberg is still actively training in martial arts and he does not look like he wants to deviate from that, as Khai Wu stated in the ES exclusive interview.
