The Irishman attended BKFC 41 in April this year. BKFC Founder and President David Feldman joined our Noah Lack and spoke about McGregor’s reaction to the event and the ends he went to scrape together the money to put on the event on our ES exclusive ES FanCast.

Feldman reveals Conor McGregor’s reaction to BKFC 41

BKFC 41 was headlined by a clash between former UFC welterweight Mike Perry and former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in the main event. And Conor McGregor was one of the people in attendance, seemingly enjoying the event. The former UFC and CW two-weight division champion even walked into the BKFC ring for a ceremonial face-off with ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry, the main event winner.

BKFC president Feldman had to refinance his own home to put together the funds to organize the Colorado card. He had a heart-to-heart with all of the fighters prior to the event and spoke to Lack about the emotional response he got from the fighters.

Feldman said that ‘The Notorious’ praised the event and had even suggested that he would love to fight in it. And while Feldman acknowledged that this was not possible at the moment given that ‘The Notorious’ is signed with the UFC, he was hopeful of him fighting at BKFC in the future.

“You know we did an event (BKFC 41) on April 29th of this year Conor McGregor showed up, it was a phenomenal event,” Feldman told Lack on our exclusive ES FanCast. “Conor McGregor was actually really cool. He said ‘this is the best game I’ve ever seen’. He said ‘this is it, man. I’ve never seen anything like this live and man, I would love to fight in it’. But obviously he’s with the UFC that’s not going to happen. But, who knows.” he told Walsh on our ES exclusive ES FanCast.

Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, who Conor McGregor defeated to make UFC history and become the promotion’s first concurrent two-division champion at UFC 205 will take on Mike Perry at BKFC 56 on December 2.
