Ferguson then took shots at McGregor’s management company ‘Paradigm Sports.’ He referenced the movie ‘The Prestige’ and talked about how he put on a facade to trick the management. He said he didn’t want them to “see the real me or how I was really acting.” The company “took the bait,” he added.

Ferguson continued further by stating, “Anytime that they would come to my, to my academy, they’ll be taking pictures of my equipment, and you would see Conor with the equipment. Anytime I was, you know… or people that would come into my, to my spot, they would be blurting out my personal information now so everybody around the area could hear it.”

The only fighters in the top 5 who he hasn’t fought are – Dustin Poirier and Islam Makhachev. Makhachev has openly challenged Ferguson multiple times before, but the American has yet to accept his proposal. With all this said, the fight with McGregor seems to make the most sense for him. This will be a good chance for the two to squash the beef that has been dragged on for many years.
