During the conversation, he detailed his love for ‘Do Bronx.’ Silva mentioned that it is great to watch the former UFC lightweight champion work hard. He appreciated Oliveira’s confidence and persistence. According to Silva, one of Oliveira’s biggest advantages is that he has great coaches like Jorge Patino to train him. Silva further claimed that he is a staunch supporter of Oliveira.
In the latter part of the conversation, ‘The Spider’ added, “He deserves all the best. He’s a good kid. Nobody believed in him, even the UFC didn’t believe in him, and he’s showing why he’s up there. He’s captivated the crowd in a way that no one expected. He deserves our respect, and Brazil has to applaud him because Charles deserves all the best. He’s our champion and we have to support him so he goes there and represents Brazil the best way possible.”From Silva’s words, it is clear that he absolutely loves Oliveira for the fighter and person he is.

Oliveira clashed against Islam Makhachev at UFC 280. This bout disappointed all the Oliveira fans, as he surprisingly failed to outdo the Russian fighter. ‘Do Bronx’ tapped out in the second round as he was unable to escape the arm triangle choke from Makhachev. When Oliveira tapped out of the bout, some lost all faith in him.
