UFC commentator Joe Rogan has been with the promotion for over two decades. The world’s number one podcast host started his career with a few small gigs. And eventually settled with three that he loves to do most, i.e., calling UFC fights, standup comedy, and his podcast. However, these were never a part of the plan.
Rogan, in a conversation with NFL legend Aaron Rodgers, touched upon how he felt about college life.

Rogan told Rodgers he had no directions in college about what he wanted to do. The $200 million worth Spotify podcast host talked about his college days and said, “I did it for three years and then I was like ‘What am I doing?’, and then I quit… Nothing I studied was interesting to me.”
“In terms of something to do for a living. I thought you know, what am I gonna do? I just couldn’t figure out anything.”
“That was like a traditional job that seemed even remotely appealing; Everything looked like death. It just looked like the death of fun, the death of hopes and dreams… ,” added Rogan, who now has a bigger network than most traditional news platforms.
Rogan was always fond of martial arts. Further, he was a bodybuilding fanatic as well, which he revealed in his conversation with Ronnie Coleman. However, comedy is where he found the most success. Or perhaps, as he mentioned, he had a lot of ‘energy’, thus translating this into his hosting, commentating and standup gigs earned him the fortune that he has today.
Joe Rogan has nothing traditional about him
The world’s number one podcast host has been a trailblazer, chiefly in the podcast world. No one knew how much the industry would grow when it first started, including Rogan.
