Despite the fact that he hasn’t fought in almost two years, Jon Jones has managed to stay relevant in UFC news. Many consider the former light heavyweight champion as the greatest fighter in MMA history. Jones has demolished every opponent he’s faced in the promotion. Currently, the UFC ranks Jones sixth in the men’s pound for pound rankings.

If it weren’t for the issues Jones has had outside of the octagon, he would undoubtedly be at the top of every list. ‘Bones’ could receive the recognition he deserves. However, because of his troubles outside the octagon, he has not reached the heights he could.

Jones has had many substance problems, as well as numerous legal issues. The UFC has sidelined Jones from the promotion as a result of his recent controversy in Las Vegas.

However, even though he isn’t fighting, Jones has been training hard on a daily basis. He also shows off his personal life and fitness on his social media quite often. Jones recently took to Instagram to show fans something interesting that we’ve not really seen before.

Jon Jones shared a video of himself grappling with an individual in the desert. It was almost like a recreation of the vintage video game ‘metal gear solid’. We can see Jones shooting the person with some kind of gun after taking him down. He also shared videos of himself shooting a gun that produced a futuristic sound.

He appeared to be acting for an upcoming movie or a show based on how he was dressed.

What’s next for Jon Jones?

Jon Jones has spent his entire career as a mixed martial artist in the light heavyweight division. He also holds multiple records in the light heavyweight category and is considered to be the division’s finest. However, after he vacated the belt in 2020, he announced that he would make his UFC return as a heavyweight fighter.

Jones has increased a lot in size since his last UFC appearance and is looking extremely comfortable as a heavyweight, judging from what he shows on social media.

Recently, Jones revealed to his fanbase that he would return to action soon in a heavyweight wrestling bout against Jack Hager. However, the Bellator fighter, Hager, denied this and shut down the fight.
