Conor McGregor‘s former teammate and training partner Dillon Danis reacted to this fight on Instagram. He replied to the post in the comments with a clown emoji. This hostility towards the fight is expected from Danis, considering that Makhachev is part of Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s camp.

It is no fresh news that McGregor’s camp and Nurmagomedov’s camp have been beefing for quite some time now. The two have disrespected each other publicly on multiple occasions and don’t hesitate to take shots at each other.

Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov

This historic bout is one that the fans will never forget. This fight was arguably the most hyped event in UFC history, considering the bad blood between the two fighters. The entire beef started after Nurmagomedov allegedly slapped McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov. This led to McGregor flying to Brooklyn and throwing a dolly at Nurmagomedov’s bus to prompt him to come out.
