Paige VanZant gained popularity through UFC and created a unique fanbase of her own. She along with her husband Austin Vanderford, also an MMA fighter, became internet celebrities with their wholesome and funny content.

VanZant does regular Q&A sessions and gives insight to the fans about her beliefs, preferences, and personal life. Fans also asked her a few questions about UFC, MMA, and her thoughts on other entities. Recently, a fan asked VanZant whether she had ever been star-struck by someone.

VanZant revealed that she hadn’t been star-struck by anyone, but she has clicked pictures with celebrities before.

“I only ask for people from very few select people that I’ve met. LeBron was one of them, Yelawolf who’s a rapper, only because I walked out in my first ever fight to his song.”

She later revealed that if she would ever get star-struck, it will only be for two people. VanZant said, “But, beyond that… the only two people I feel like I will get completely starstruck by… umm… Lil Wayne and Eminem”

The former UFC fighter is currently signed with sports entertainment company All Elite Wrestling (AEW). She also has an active contract with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). Her husband, Austin Vanderford, is signed with Bellator MMA and is currently the #2 middleweight in the promotion.

During her stint with UFC, she won five out of her nine fights and earned a name for her stylish striking, strong grappling, and ground-and-pound.

What lies ahead for Paige VanZant?

’12 Gauge’ recently signed with AEW, putting an end to questions about her possible MMA return anytime soon. She also has a contract with BKFC, and has already lost two of the four fights she originally signed for.

There is a possibility of her fighting her third promotional fight with BKFC this year, however, it is yet to be announced. While she has made a few cameos on AEW, there is still no information about her debut fight in the company. 

The 27-year-old has a large fanbase and a gifted fighting technique, making her destined for greater things. UFC fans are still hoping for her to return to MMA, although it looks difficult in the near future.
