UFC legend Mark Coleman made headlines recently after an online run-in with Conor McGregor. The UFC’s first-ever heavyweight champion recently announced his intent to partake in a celebrity boxing match. Not one to let an opportunity to gain some attention idly slip by, McGregor acknowledged the callout and threw his hat in the ring in a deleted tweet. Coleman returned the favor with a callout of the Irishman. The unlikely altercation surprised a lot of fans who expressed their doubts about Coleman returning to action. Many of them tried to dissuade the 58-year-old from venturing into a fight again.
However, the UFC Hall of Famer remains unfazed. Recently, Coleman shared another update about himself via an Instagram post. ‘The Hammer’ mentioned some of his grueling training regimens and let the fans know what he was up to. He also gave a shoutout to Daniel Spohn, who is stepping in to face Ty Flores at PFL 4 on June 8. Spohn had to step in after Rob Wilkinson tested positive in the recent string of positive PED tests in the PFL.
Coleman revealed he had flown down to Atlanta, Georgia, to support Spohn. He also got in a good workout before sharing the Instagram post and also mentioned a harmless mishap that happened to him.
