In the wake of Trump’s victory, Elon Musk was appointed to an advisory position in a new commission called ‘DOGE,’ designed to tackle financial inefficiencies within federal agencies and streamline government operations. Musk’s involvement in the DOGE commission marks a significant shift in his public role, as he moves from the tech industry to political advisory. His work with Ramaswamy and Trump highlights his increasing influence in both business and politics. The commission’s main objective is to address inefficiencies in the federal government, an area Musk has been passionate about for years, often criticizing bureaucratic systems in his ventures.

Musk’s close friend, podcast host Joe Rogan, couldn’t be happier about his success. Musk has appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience multiple times, and recently, Rogan expressed his admiration for Musk in a more humorous light. During episode #2234 of the podcast, Rogan and Andreessen Horowitz co-founder Ben Horowitz reflected on Musk’s involvement with Twitter, which ultimately led to Musk’s acquisition of the social media platform.

The humor took center stage when Rogan highlighted Musk’s recent tweet about preparing for his new role as head of DOGE. Musk revealed that to get ready for the position, he was watching the 1999 satirical comedy Office Space for the fifth time. The film critiques corporate culture and inefficiencies, which Musk seemingly related to the issues he hoped to address in federal operations. Rogan couldn’t help but laugh when reading Musk’s tweet, calling him a “f–king psycho” and adding, “God, we are so lucky that guy’s around.”

Joe Rogan requests job from Elon Musk after MSNBC acquisition rumors

Recently, Donald Trump asked Elon Musk to buy CNBC and MSNBC, amid rumors that their parent company is up for sale. Trump called it the “funniest idea,” but there has been no confirmation yet from Musk’s side on whether he is seriously considering the deal. Before any confirmation came to light, Joe Rogan stepped forward with a request to his billionaire CEO friend Musk. Rogan has had his own issues with CNBC, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when the channel reported on his use of ivermectin, a medicine commonly used to treat parasites.

This portrayal soured Rogan’s view of the network and pushed him toward the Republican side. When Rogan heard the rumor about Musk potentially buying MSNBC, he took to Twitter and, in the same thread, jokingly asked for a job on the network. Rogan wrote, “If you buy MSNBC, I would like Rachel Maddow’s job. I will wear the same outfit and glasses, and I will tell the same lies.”

As for Trump’s new arsenal, led by Musk, do you think the government’s plan to reduce financial burden will lead to success in America? Despite recent criticism of the regulatory cuts, what are your thoughts on the potential outcomes of such actions? Feel free to share your opinion below.
