Brendan Schaub gave his thoughts on the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler fight scheduled for December at UFC 300 this year. The former UFC fighter, who transitioned to being a comic and podcaster after retiring following Joe Rogan‘s infamous “I think you’d be surprised” episode on the JRE podcast.
Schaub expressed confidence that the McGregor- Chandler fight will go ahead despite USADA rules mandating a fighter to be in its testing pool for at least six months. He inferred this from Dana White’s statements to journalist Aron Bronsteter on the fight.

Schaub thinks Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler in December
On his Thicc Boy podcast, Schaub was discussing a clip of Dana White talking about the fight in which Dana downplayed concerns surrounding it, saying he was not concerned about UFC 300.
“UFC 300 isnt even in my mind right now, the Conor thing. Who the hell knows? Who cares what USADA says! We’ll see what happens when it happens.” Dana told Bronsteter.
Schaub gave his opinion on Dana’s statement, saying the UFC President meant he was focused on one event at a time and not a diss at USADA.
Brendan’s co-host then brought up Conor’s Tweets, where he implied he would be fighting in December. “Connor tweeted this and deleted it. Someone asked him, I guess a fan asked him- tell us when the fight with Chandler is? He posts an Emoji of Santa and then said December and then he deleted it,” he said.
Schaub believes Conor will fight in December despite USADA as he will be exempted by the UFC from the six-month rule. “It’s Connor he’s fighting…Connor knows this Dana knows this USADA doesn’t know this. I guarantee you he kind of knows all right I’m fighting December.” Schaub said.
“He knows he can just trump USADA and go- he’s fighting and hey, we’re all gonna watch I’ll say it so f*** you USADA. How about that yeah” he added.
