High stakes for Jon Jones going into his next match
Jon Jones has been fighting for what seems like ages now. So it’s only obvious that he wants a fitting end to his lasting legacy. Jones has previously made it clear that he wants nothing more than to win this next fight and retire. Of course, beating Stipe Miocic is not going to be easy.
Miocic has never been submitted in his entire career. So, to prepare for him, Jones trained with BJJ GOAT Gordon Ryan. Perhaps a submission victory isn’t entirely out of the window just yet. However, Jones is going to need much more than just that to win.
This could be his last match and it would be a shame to not win it. After a series of card changes and underwhelming endings at UFC 294, will Jones’ main event have enough pull? Nobody can tell just yet. What we do know is that ‘Bones’ is not holding back during training.
