UFC 295 was supposed to be the ultimate battle of heavyweights – Stipe Miocic vs. Jon Jones. However, Jones withdrew from his title defense against Miocic due to injuries. This led to a replacement bout between Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich which Aspinall won by KO/TKO.

Although his fight was canceled, Miocic showed up at UFC 295 with his wife. The 41-year-old appeared to be limping, causing concern among fans about his condition. Speculation arose regarding the reason behind Miocic’s apparent discomfort, leaving fans worried about his well-being. But, is there a reason to worry?

Stipe Miocic has been arguably the best heavyweight fighter on the UFC roster to date, but now, the division is observing an influx of younger fighters. Further, it looks like his age might be catching up to him. Miocic attended UFC 295 with his wife, Ryan Marie Carney. The video of Miocic walking to the venue with his wife did rounds on social media. What concerned fans was the way that the heavyweight walked.

Some people are speculating that Miocic never truly recovered from the fight against Ngannou. At UFC 260, Ngannou knocked out Miocic, who fell on his left leg in an awkward position. That fight took place in 2021 and that was the last time Miocic entered the Octagon. Could it be that Miocic sustained serious injuries from that fight that he never really recovered from?
