If you’ve ever taken a flight, it’s possible that you’ve encountered a scenario where you physically compete with a stranger for a larger chunk of the armrest. Apparently, fan favorite Laura Sanko experienced a similar circumstance while flying.

The UFC on ESPN analyst detailed the incident on her official Twitter account. Sanko said in the tweet that a stranger had taken up the majority of her armrest area when she was on a flight. She continued, adding that she had skin-to-skin contact with the stranger, despite her best efforts to escape the uncomfortable scenario.
“In the battle of my life over space on a plane right now. This guy’s arm is 4 inches past the armrest. We are skin on skin. It’s clammy. Have attempted to meld into and take the shape of the fuselage to my right to avoid further intimacy, but my efforts are in vain. We are one,” Sanko wrote.

Sanko made her amateur MMA debut in 2010. Unfortunately, she got dropped in her second amateur match. But returned to the winning side of things in her third fight.
In 2013, Sanko opted to turn professional after a 4-1 amateur career. However, her debut fight was the only professional bout that she competed in and won. The UFC analyst competed in Invicta FC and had a 1-0 record under her name.
