It seems as if the influence of Conor McGregor has surpassed the MMA community. Recently, British motorcycle racer Jake Dixon registered his first-ever Moto GP win at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen. The most hilarious part of the win came at the end, when he decided to celebrate the victory with McGregor’s famous ‘billionaire strut’.

Conor McGregor is the biggest MMA star in the world. His success in the UFC and his antics have made him a household name in the sport. However, he has inspired not only MMA fighters but also athletes from other sports as well.

Jake Dixon imitates Conor McGregor

Jake Dixon showcased a tremendous performance at the TT Circuit in Assen. The 27-year-old racer came back from running wide to lead again and eventually win his first-ever Moto GP race. However, what stole the show was his celebration after getting over the line at Assen. Dixon was emotional after winning the race, but then he celebrated with the famous ‘billionaire strut’, paying tribute to the former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor.

Dixon went to share a tweet talking about the celebration. He told his fans and followers that this was his attempt at imitating ‘Notorious’. Dixon said, “My best [Conor McGregor] style to celebrate my first GP win.” Furthermore, the British racer also urged everyone to spread the video of his celebration on social media until Conor McGregor took notice of it. He added, “Everyone share so the legend can see it.” Let us see what the fans had to say about that.

‘Notorious’ and fans react to Dixon’s ‘billy strut’

Conor McGregor was quick to notice the post on Twitter. He liked the post and also retweeted it. On the other hand, fans gave their own take on the celebration.

There were many fans who celebrated his maiden Grand Prix win and claim that he deserved it.

Another fan on Twitter claimed the victory celebration went hand-in-hand with the win at Assen.

Everybody seems to love the ‘billy strut’.

Jake Dixon may have referred to Conor McGregor regarding the celebration. However, one fan pointed out that it was Vince McMahon who invented the walk.

One fan even urged the 27-year-old racer to have his own original celebration.

However, there were others who were amused to see the ‘billionaire strut’ and shared the GIFs of Conor McGregor doing it.

Conor McGregor first did the ‘billionaire strut’ back in UFC 205, when he became the first-ever UFC double champion. Apart from the fun and games, on the fighting front, McGregor has struggled to find his footing in his last few fights. He was scheduled to return for a fight against Michael Chandler, but the possibility of it happening appears to be slim. We will have to wait and see what happens.
