‘Full Send MMA’ reporter, Shawny Mack, is in trouble again. At the UFC 278 media day, Luke Rockhold schooled the reporter. The journalist had recently interviewed Marlon Vera prior to his fight against Dominick Cruz at UFC Fight Night: Vera vs. Cruz. However, the reporter gave ‘Chito’ a Mexican luchador mask, and that’s how they continued the interview.
Rockhold, who is good friends with Vera, did not like it as the fighter is from Ecuador. Hence, he lashed out at the ‘Full Send’ reporter. The former UFC middleweight champion said, “… I see all you guys around here, right now and I see this mother****er right here. You got to do your f**king homework.”

“… f**king know, this degenerate culture of f**king Barstool Sports and Full Send and they say, you got to do your homework. You can’t approach Chito and give him a f**king Mexican mask about his culture.”
“His culture, he’s f**king Ecuadorian, mother****er.”

Luke Rockhold and the reporter went back and forth for a bit and fight fans had a lot to say about this interaction.
An Instagram user wrote, “Reporter said it wasn’t about his culture. Why didn’t anyone else get a mask”.
Referring to the back and forth between the fighter and the journalist, a fan wrote, ““I worked out with Jason” Jason isn’t Chito. Just cuse he said it’s cool doesn’t mean it is. Good on Luke for calling out reporters like this”.
A person also wrote, “Reporter buys a Mexican wrestling mask for a fighter from Ecuador. Then asks how did I offend his culture……..”
Why did Nate Diaz slap the same journalist Luke Rockhold was mad at?
UFC star Nate Diaz had slapped a ‘Full Send’ reporter at UFC 276. Turns out it was Mack. The reporter later opened up about the incident and said he deserved the slap, as he had been taunting Diaz and his teammate online.
