Conor McGregor seems to invite chaos to his day-to-day life more often than not. Most of it is via his controversial tweets. McGregor is infamous for going off on Twitter and passing some eyebrow-raising remarks. The Dubliner recently made a deplorable comment in response to a rather random tweet that purportedly involved Dustin Poirier‘s wife, Jolie Poirier. Following Poirier’s leg injury, McGregor and Poirier spat insults on Twitter, and ‘The Notorious’ appears to be active there still. And fans are not having it at all.

The fans have commonly found McGregor‘s comments rather entertaining, but this particular tweet ticked them off.

Conor McGregor‘s now-deleted tweet that said, “Heal up soon scruffy knickers”, in response to Dustin Poirier‘s staph infection news, received a response from a Twitter user. “I think we might need to check the security footage cuz I bet Connie did this to the gym mats” the Twitter user stated in the tweet that included a certain GIF. This caught McGregor‘s attention, and he responded to it with a rather foul comment, which didn’t sit well with the fans.

‘The Notorious’ might have still stuck to the chain of argument with ‘The Diamond’ and supposedly directed this tweet to the latter’s wife, Jolie Poirier. He wrote, “his chicks knickers” in response to a tweet that featured a GIF of a dog moving in a certain way.

Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier went from being competitors to friends to bloodthirsty adversaries in the course of their UFC tenure so far. And as of now, there is nothing but strong hatred between the two. Although McGregor lost the last two bouts against Poirier, he still displayed the desire to settle the score even in the Octagon by defeating ‘The Diamond’ in his since-deleted tweet.

In the now-deleted tweet, McGregor wrote, “I’m coming back to put you in a box.” responding to Poirier’s tweet. On the contrary, Dustin Poirier is currently hospitalized as he is dealing with a severe staph infection in his foot.
