Jake Paul is signed with UFC rival PFL, as is former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. The promotion is reportedly in the process of acquiring Bellator, which might improve its roster and make it more popular. Journalist Michael Benson has reported, however, that their MMA rematch has hit a snag after Paul agreed to it.

“PFL have now made Jake Paul and Nate Diaz an official offer for an MMA rematch, Jake’s Most Valuable Promotions have stated. They said Jake has accepted this offer, while Nate is calling for a boxing rematch instead.” Benson tweeted.

Nate Diaz is dragging his feet and calling for another boxing rematch, which is surprising considering his atrocious performance in August. The reason behind this may be that Diaz does not want to upset Dana White and the UFC by fighting its rival and boosting its popularity. Nonetheless, fans were shocked at Diaz.
