

Former UFC welterweight and Jiu-Jitsu ace, Renzo Gracie got in an altercation on a subway platform that turned physical.
The whole incident was caught on camera, where Gracie was seen tussling with a man on the feet before he took him to the ground and choked him.

The video surfaced on the internet and became news for media and fans all around the world.
Why did the UFC veteran Renzo Gracie get into an altercation?
According to the post, Gracie was having a conversation with a fellow black belt in Portuguese when he was confronted by a stranger who threw racial comments.

The post explained the entire occurrence in the caption of the video.
It said, “Based off of the information we retrieved from an audio recording on WhatsApp, Gracie stated that the aggressor was a black/dark-skinned man who was yelling at him to “speak English here”. In the audio recording, Gracie stated that the young man accused him of speaking badly about him in Portuguese. Gracie responded saying that his accusation was ridiculous and racist.”
“A fight ensued. According to Gracie, the man begged to be let go from a Kata Gatame saying “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe”. While controlling him Gracie made the assailant apologize and released him saying “you see, you’re a nice guy. Why are you doing this? Why are you so impolite?”

Adult start, Kendra Lust also took to her social media to share the incident. She applauded Gracie for teaching the stranger a lesson; moreover, she wrote, “F*ck around and find out lol”
This was not the first time that the Jiu-Jitsu icon had a street brawl. Previously in 2014, the welterweight had sent a bouncer to the hospital after an altercation.

Gracie was arrested, and the bouncer received treatment for a broken arm; however, the fighters called it a misunderstanding and dusted things off.
