Dana White gets a callout from the PFC head

According to the NYPost, PFC Head Steve Williams surprisingly issued a challenge to White. In his recent comments, Williams called White out for a fight in a combat sports ring. However, the challenge issued was not in any normal fighting ring, but a specialized pillow-fighting ring. “Yes I’d definitely like to get Dana in the ring,” he said.

Further, Williams also stated that White is around 10 years younger than him. However, the pillow-fighting promotion’s head still strongly believes that he can defeat White easily. “He’s a decade younger and spent his entire life around MMA fighters but I’m 100% sure that I’d stomp his skinny a** in the first round,” he said.

Till now, the 54-year-old hasn’t responded to these comments. However, fans are excited to see what White has to say. Further, these shocking comments by Williams have led to many heads turning towards the unconventional pillow-fighting promotion.

Legal troubles between PFC and UFC?

Recently, the UFC formally objected to the PFC’s trademark application. The prominent MMA promotion cited concerns about potential confusion arising from similar branding elements. This move prompted a reaction from Williams. The CEO of PFC didn’t mince words when expressing his views on the matter.

Williams dismissed the UFC’s objections as ridiculous, highlighting that the vast majority of people had never expressed any confusion between the two organizations. In his eyes, it seemed implausible that fans would mistake a pillow fight for the brutal and intense world of MMA.

“It’s ridiculous. Out of the 100 million comments nobody ever said anything,” he said. As this unique rivalry unfolds, the combat sports world watches with curiosity. While the pillow fighting arena might seem worlds apart from the octagon, do you think this rivalry goes any further? Comment down below.
