When ‘Izzy’ was asked about facing Jones in the Octagon in the future, he said, “He should move up a weight first. Go fight Francis or even like, I don’t know. Stop being on TMZ, get his life together. And then no, I’m, this is fact. So, am I saying anything that’s not true?”

“Just get a sh*t together first, like DC said, and start fighting again because there’s no fight if someone’s not fighting. I’m the one fighting. I’m staying active, I’m moved up a weight; not just talking about it.”

“…going to do it again. And I’m yeah, cementing my own legacy… I’m just worrying about me right now.”

Jon Jones vacated the light heavyweight title to move to the heavyweight division. After all, he dominated the lighter division for a long time. So a move up came naturally.

However, ‘Bones‘ last fought in 2020 (UFC 247) and hasn’t returned since. Hence, UFC fighters, as well as fans, are curious to know when he will return.

As Jones had previously shown interest in fighting Francis Ngannou and even Stipe Miocic, his return will be an interesting one. It would be exciting to see if he holds the same level of dominance after moving up a weight class.

As reported by ‘MMA Fighting‘, Jon Jones feels he would easily defeat the middleweight champion. He tweeted, “He would’ve got ground and pounded to death.”

Adesanya, who is an elite striker, indeed had a tough time facing Jan Blachowicz at UFC 259 as he got taken down and dominated by his opponent. Hence, he faced his first MMA defeat. However, he remains undefeated in the middleweight division.

As both Jones and ‘Stylebender’ are highly competitive fighters, there is a rivalry among them to be at the top.
