The internet has been going crazy over one hypothetical question – Could 100 unarmed men defeat a single silverback gorilla in combat? Fighters like Bo Nickal, Merab Dvalishvili, and Brandon Moreno have stepped forward to participate in the hypothetical fight already. Well, they believed that they could take down the silverback alone. And while Conor McGregor chose to fight on behalf of the gorilla, the fighting community has found one more fighter to go up against the silverback.
The fighter we’re talking about is the famed martial artist who has been going viral on the internet with his insane achievements. He has three golds in taekwondo, and won at the English Open 2018 and the ATMA/STKD Championship in 2016. Apart from martial arts, he has also touched football, swimming, table tennis, and calisthenics. We’re indeed talking about Israel Adesanya’s friend, Joshua Iyalla. Well, after making videos while recreating iconic MMA moves, Iyalla made sure to put his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.
You read that right! Joshua became the world’s fastest puncher and broke three world records for full-extension punches. He sent forth 453 fists in 60 seconds, 374 punches with boxing gloves on, and 333 strikes while holding 2.2-pound dumbbells. And the credit? It didn’t go to ‘The Last Stylebender’. Instead, Iyalla thanked ChatGPT for helping him with the training plan.

And soon, Pubity shared the visuals where Iyalla broke the Guinness World Records. He can be seen throwing Wing-Chun-like punches on a heavy bag, which was followed by a few pictures of him posing with the Guinness World Records logo and certificate around him. However, the fighting world pushed him towards the fight against a silverback gorilla.

Well, Joshua Iyalla’s legacy was just beginning to shine through his records when the fighting community put him up in the hypothetical matchup. One of the fans wrote, “I’ve seen enough… add him to the 100 men vs gorilla.” Another fan added, “We need him to sign up for the 100v1 😂.” On top of that, one more fight fan suggested, “Let him be one of the men that fight that gorilla! 🦍 🤛🏾”
Nevertheless, there were a few others who imagined fighting against Iyalla. Needless to say, the fans knew it’d turn out to be dangerous. One fan commented, “I don’t encourage anyone fighting with this guy!” Another fan thought on attempting the act, but deep down, he knew the truth. The comment read, “My toxic trait is thinking I can easily do this.”
