MMA has a reputation for being ruthless and violent. Fighters give it their all when they are in the cage to down their opponents. The image of the sport and the athletes may be of people who are tough and don’t give in to emotions, but outside the cage, Dana White‘s UFC does a lot of sweet things for its fans.

Conor McGregor has praised a recent example of a sweet gesture. The UFC shared a video on Twitter where a kid who had a transplant was invited to the UFC headquarters. ‘Make A Wish’ foundation, South Nevada, in collaboration with UFC in the community, called the kid, Jason, to the UFC for a weekend. Stars like Israel Adesanya and Conor McGregor even shared their messages with Jason.

When Dana White helped a Thai Girl

While the UFC has always been very active in its community initiatives, Dana White saved a Thai Girl’s life once. Her mother was a teacher in the Tiger Muay-Thai gym. Once the news broke and Dana White received the request from some fighters of the gym, he did what was needed to save the girl, who was days away from death. The girl named Tuptim, needed an immediate liver transplant but they couldn’t afford the medical expenses. White came to the rescue of the young girl and her mother. The family had sent their acknowledgments for his help earlier this year.
