“First of Many My Brother “- Kamaru Usman Welcomes Famous African Rapper at Inaugural Nigerian MMA Event

Current UFC welterweight champ, Kamaru Usman, is spending some much-needed leisure time at his home country Nigeria. However, the welterweight is never short of work as Usman organized the first Mixed Martial Arts tournament back in Nigeria with fellow African celebrity Burna Boy.

The aforementioned is a famous rapper who is known far and wide in Africa. Meanwhile, the rapper thanked the UFC pound-for-pound #1 for inviting him to his first MMA fight event. In a video, we can hear Burna Boy say, “Beautiful, very entertaining. My first MMA fight I’m watching in Nigeria.”

Notably, Usman took notice of his fellow entertainer and responded with gratitude through his Twitter account. He wrote, “First of many my brother.”

Moreover, Burna Boy recently featured the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ in his latest music video, B. D’OR, featuring Wizkid. Chiefly, the 170-pounds champ sizzled as he flaunted his welterweight strap in the exhilarating music video.

The event was one of many African ventures by the Nigerian-born Usman. The event, Face-Off Fight Night 1, is the first Mixed Martial Arts contest in Nigeria. Plus, they organized it under Usman’s African KnockOut banner, as the Nigerian wanted to contribute something to his home country and profession.

Former UFC title challenger thinks Khamzat Chimaev will put Kamaru Usman to sleep

Former light heavyweight title challenger Alexander Gustafsson is of the opinion that ‘Borz’ can put Usman to sleep. Notably, ‘The Mauler’ and Khamzat Chimaev are compatriots and even train at the same gym, AllStars Training Center.

Gustafsson said, “I think he will put Kamaru Usman to sleep, honestly. I think he just touches his chin. It’s a big chance Kamaru Usman goes to sleep.”

“I like Kamaru Usman. He’s a great champ. He’s just like been breaking records and you know it’s just a very, it’s a pleasure to see him fight. Because he’s a very good, technical, you know I love his jab and his wrestling. And you know you can see, he’s on top, Kamaru Usman. But I just, I can’t see him take Khamzat’s punches. I can’t see him taking his, you know, combinations,” Gustafsson explained his analysis.
