Mark Coleman ruled his era in the UFC with his ferocious fighting style. As the first-ever UFC heavyweight champion, he proved to be a fearsome foe, defeating the promotion’s then Superfight Champion, Dan Severn, in the opening round of their bout at the UFC 12: Judgement Day in 1997. Since then, ‘The Hammer’ has become a legendary figure in the sport, known widely for his aggressive fighting style. Even after nearly 13 years since retiring from the sport, Coleman is not looking to stop. The 58-year-old UFC Hall of Famer is still not putting up with any excuse for age to catch up with him and missing an action.

Recently, he took to his Instagram to share a pivotal update on his life, revealing that he had sparred for the first time in years. In his inspirational message to his followers, he urged them to keep pushing through despite the challenges.
