Awards can be a big deal for artists. It shows their work is being loved and positively received. However, Ali Siddiq and Joe Rogan have a slightly different stance. Comedian Ali Siddiq featured on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Episode #1825 thus witnessed a series of subjects being discussed.

One such interesting topic was Rogan’s perspective on awards that artists receive for their work. Incidentally, the famous Spotify podcaster is not too fond of them. He openly expressed his dislike for the awards.
Rogan said, “F**k those awards. People give you your own awards just by seeing you. Who is the deciding vote on the Grammys or the Emmys, get the f**k out of here. Who are those people? F**k off.”

Siddiq agreed with Rogan and said, “Who are they? … The thing is to achieve some sh*t without them…”
Thus, both the personalities do not seem too fond of the way awards ceremonies work. Siddiq further spoke about some of his work-related experiences. He exposed how those ceremonies worked inside. As a result of such experiences, he does not seem to give them much importance.

Although Rogan might not like the voting system behind awards, it sure feels good to win one. Years ago, Rogan’s podcast received the ‘Best Overall Show’ award from Stitcher Awards and hence, the podcaster was on cloud nine.

Rogan has also received honors for being the ‘Best Television Announcer’. Clearly, the MMA analyst is no stranger to winning his fair share of awards.
Moreover, the multi-talented commentator also has a flourishing stand-up comedy career. He has also hosted ‘Fear Factor’ back in the day and bagged movie roles. As a result, he has knowledge of what goes on behind the doors.
