As the video progressed, Arman Tsarukyan was seen showing off his Lamborghini and then came a revelation that put the lightweight champion as well as Team Khabib, “I’ve got one trick prepared that I believe in. It will change the outcome of the fight.” What was the revelation? Well, it was a wrestling match Arman Tsarukyan had with the Chechen phenom Khamzat Chimaev.

Arman ͏Tsarukya͏n clashed͏ with the Chechen middleweight ͏in an episode of ͏the Hype Fig͏hting Championship’s reality sh͏ow, which is the Russian equivalent of͏ The Ultimat͏e F͏ighter (TUF). According to the number one lightweight contender, his clash with Khamzat Chimaev was eye-opening for him, “The fight with Khamzat was in a good tempo, I was defending and didn’t give him an option to choke me,” said Tsarukyan. He further added, “With the size that he is now, it was very difficult for me to move him or go behind his back – I didn’t take any risks, I just stayed on the defensive and didn’t let Khamzat make a hold.” In light of this development, Khabib Nurmagomedov has warned Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov of rough training ahead.

Arman Tsarukyan threat looms over Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov

Islam Makhachev has been riding a fourteen-fight winning streak but his dominance may be tested on January 18th when he faces Arman Tsarukyan. UFC 311 is an extremely important event for the Dagestani camp as along with Islam Makhachev’s title defense, they will have to focus on Umar Nurmagomedov, who will be fighting Merab Dvalishvili for the bantamweight championship. The challenge ahead of the Dagetsani camp is as big as Texas right now but are they ready? Well, according to former lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, he will make sure that they are ready.

Taking to his social media handles, Khabib Nurmagomedov expressed his happiness as the entirety of the Team Khabib might have a belt sooner. In addition to that, he warned Makhachev as well as ‘Young Eagle’ of harsher training days ahead. “I’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. BE PREPARED @UMAR_ NURMAGOMEDOV @ISLAM MAKHACHEV,” wrote Khabib Nurmagomedov on his Instagram story.

A victory for the Dagestani camp would fulfill Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’s wish of witnessing his beloved students as champions. Regardless, what’s your take on the hubbub? State your thoughts in the comments below.
