UFC flyweight, Alexandre Pantoja, claimed a unanimous decision win over company debutant, Manel Kape, after a solid display. The former RIZIN FF fighter, Kape, will certainly need a bit more time to get accustomed to his new organization. At 27, he is yet to showcase his best version to the fans, but he can’t take too much time in the world’s premier MMA organization too.

Pantoja on the other hand entered his 10th UFC fight. His vast experience inside the Octagon was visible from the start of the contest. After the fight, he called his shots on the higher-ranked guys as the perennial contender believes he can beat anybody on the roster.

I know Manuel is a really good fighter, you know, but he needs to know UFC high-level sport, you know, some more high-level guys here, bro. And when I see the cage in the first round I see is really nervous You know, he fights with the best guys from the division, and I know he is good guy is gonna make very good fights in UFC, but with me, if you don’t have a chance,said Pantoja.

I come to UFC to show all the guys I can strike and I can make jiu-jitsu. I need more fights, bro. I want more fights. I need to prove all the time. I need our fighter all the best guys in front division. You know flyweights on fire bro flyweights on fire,” he added.

Alexandre Pantoja can certainly be a top contender in the flyweight division

Pantoja’s 3 defeats inside the Octagon have come against top contenders like Askar Askarov, Dustin Ortiz, and current champion Deiveson Figueiredo. He has wins over names like Wilson Reis and recent title challenger Brandon Moreno. Since joining the UFC in 2017, ‘The Cannibal’ has made more than a name for himself.

He is a versatile fighter who can hold his own on the ground and in the striking department as well. Out of his 23 professional wins, 8 have come by KO/TKO and 8 by submission. So, he is a threat in the division.
