NFT’s are all the rage currently. Many well-known personalities have been talking about them, and this includes people like Justin Bieber, Lionel Messi, Jimmy Fallon, and Snoop Dogg. However, singer and rapper Kanye West is not jumping on the bandwagon anytime soon. On the contrary, people asking him about NFT seems to be annoying him.
As a result, West shared a post on Instagram which was dedicated to focusing on ‘real’ things. Therefore, it looks like he is unimpressed by them. However, UFC fighter Darren Till was not happy with the singer’s post and called him out.

Till has been saying positive things about NFT’s and has talked about them on Twitter on several occasions. He also has his own collection. So this explains his annoyance with Kanye West.
However, it looks like West isn’t interested in NFT’s currently. But he has left the door slightly ajar by saying that he isn’t thinking about it ‘for now’ in his Instagram caption. So it would be interesting to see if it appeals to him in the future. After all, the rapper has a knack for being at the forefront of the music industry. NFT’s might be the answer to further grow his brand.
UFC goes the NFT route
UFC is known for being innovative and providing its spectators with an experience like no other. Hence, the promotion along with Dapper Labs announced the launch of ‘UFC Strike’, an NFT collectible product. It was launched on January 23 and gave fans the opportunity to further engage with some of the biggest moments in UFC’s history.
With great audio and video content, the promotion is able to keep its fans constantly interested as well as is profiting from it. UFC Strike plans to further keep developing its market. The fighters featured also receive revenues from the sales.

According to several sources, this new endeavor has been doing great.
The first round of UFC STRIKE packs sold out.
If the UFC's cut is 50% and the fighters share is half of that, each fighter involved would receive approx. $18,000.
Fighters like Francis Ngannou, Ciryl Gane, Li Jingliang and Michael Chandler are featured twice and make $36k. https://t.co/co0DV6PxAZ
